As founder of creative solutions agency Autonomy, Chad’s days are filled with working on some of our country’s most loved brands. His 20-year experience spans many disciplines with core expertise across motion design, media branding, architectural interiors and set design, TV commercials and corporate communication.
Chad serves as the Creative Director and Motion Designer for Autonomy’s clients, generating inspired experiences and insightful problem solving. Whether it’s a 2D infographic treatment or 3D animated motion graphics, Chad always takes a strategic and design driven approach to every project.
Chad has been the creative mastermind behind some of South Africa’s greatest and most watched TV show’s branding and has earned a reputation for creativity, innovation and success whilst amassing a range of industry related awards for Standard Bank National Arts Festival, SA’s most recognisable TV Shows Jam Alley, Club 808, Lunch Box, Go Zone and etv’s youth slot Craz-e.
He re-branded SABC’s long-standing music show Jam Alley twice, and won PROMAX BDA Best Set Design awards both times.
Chad’s most notable accolade is the architectural interior branch design for FNB, South Africa’s leading bank. The new dotFNB branches, together with “Bank in a Bag”, its fuel reward and the FNB Banking app for smartphones contributed to FNB winning the BAI-Finacle Global Banking Main Award.
Creative StrategistIngrid is a concept strategist who is always seeking ways to use content in innovative ways to bridge the gap between the world we live in and the world we want.
She has spent her 28-year career as a catalyst for dynamic and integrated marketing campaigns that spans the broadcast, advertising and marketing industries. Ingrid has produced a diverse body of award-winning work for clients such as Coca-Cola, Standard Bank, e.tv, FNB and the National Arts Festival.
Prior to joining Autonomy, Ingrid worked as Head of Creative and Strategy at Red Pepper Pictures where she headed its Design and Animation department and e.tv’s youth slot Craz-e which under her tenure won channel brand of the year in the 2010 PROMAX BDA AFRICA AWARDS.
Ingrid’s creative leadership at Red Pepper has also fuelled some of South Africa’s most recognisable TV programmes; SA’s first all teen-girl TV show Sistahood, Cool Catz and Craz-e World Live with then Craz-e Producer Gill Vile, Our Perfect Wedding for Connect TV, Pop-Up TV Jozi Life for Vusion Media and the strategic development, design and implementation of the SABC’s new corporate identity which enabled the SABC’s iconic Africa Pulse to entice a new, innovative and leading-edge thinking.
Since joining Autonomy Ingrid has worked on a variety of strategic brand challenges for DDB South Africa’s client SABC Group Sales and Marketing and for Vusion Media, she designed the visual positioning for SABC Encore. Ingrid regularly judges international media branding entries for Promax BDA and guest lectures in Strategic Brand Management at Vega School of Brand Leadership.
